AT 25 YeARS OF AGE THIS MAN SEES MORE THAN MOST.  FULL OF HOPES, DREAMS, AND IDEAS, TO   MAKE HIS PLACE In THIS MUSICAL WORLD.  TOM IS INTELLIGENT, INTROSPECTIVE, WITH A WARM LOVING SPIRIT.  HE TRANSFORMS these qualities INtO SOME AMAZING MUSIC, WHICH flows from his SOUL. THEY SAY, “THE EYES ARE THE WINDOWS OF THE SOUL”. If taken literally then these “eyes of fire” …will soon set the musical world a blaze.

Ellie: What are your artistic dreams?

Tom: Ultimately I would like to be able to make a living just doing music. If I could help to diversify mainstream enough so that there is no more mainstream, people hopefully will start to think for themselves as a whole and that would be the ultimate accomplishment.

Ellie: that is quite an undertaking how would you do this?

Tom: My plan is going to have to be played by ear as far as I can tell.   I would like for "A touch of evil" to take off and eventually I’d like to also get my solo project going, "Eyes of fire" I've been thinking about that for a long time, it’s going to take a miracle and a half. I believe that the disease of conformity is maybe the worst disease for the human race.

 Through out history, people have been made fun of, put down, told off, ridiculed, and even tortured and killed for being different or something that is not accepted by the masses.

 And it really needs to end...  People need to realize its ok to do your own thing as long as you’re not hurting others...

ELLIE: WHAT ABOUT YOUR SOLO PROJECT “EYES OF FIRE”?

Tom: Eyes of fire is just me, I don’t have a band for that. A touch of evil is a full band.
After a touch of evil is big, I want to erect eyes of fire for my personal creative outlet.

Ellie: What is your band all about?

Tom: A touch of evil is all about metal, original style, original music its hard to say what where about yet, its to early to tell. We are half way done writing the album and it is turning out to be very good.

Ellie what is the meaning of the name "A touch of evil"?

Tom: A touch of evil... the drummer came up with the name... at first it just sounded cool, and I have to admit when they first told me the name I immediately thought of Doro Pesche. A touch of evil is you, its me, its everyone.  All of us have at least a touch of evil.    Its that touch that makes us all human, it applies to everyone. A touch of evil is nothing about glorifying evil or bad things.  No one is perfect,  all of us have done something we shouldn’t have done.   However unfortunately there are some people in this world who are just all evil and that is wrong.   There are people who thrive off putting down others.  People who feel good from making others feel bad... they are all evil parasites and to stupid to be alive.   So hopefully, people wont miss interpret a touch of evil and think we are glorifying bad things cause that is so un true.

ELLIE: TELL ME ABOUT THE "TOUCH OF EVIL" ALBUM THE BAND IS WORKING ON...

Tom: Its a concept album... every song is a chapter which makes up a whole story. I can’t get into detail here, but it’s going to deal a lot with human emotion that has been around since the beginning of time to modern day. There is of course going to be a backdrop to the story that deals a little bit with the super natural. There is a much larger and even greater story told. It deals with emotions of a darker nature mostly, but there are happy emotions, feelings of joy, and also despair, revenge, sorrow, hurt, depression, rage, Etc.

This album is awesome, we hope to gain some new fans, and patient fans at that. We wont have the album done till late winter at the earliest

ELLIE: WHY A CONCEPT ALBUM?

Tom: It’s really a genius story, I have always been in love with the idea of a concept album.

Not many bands do a concept album, and this is our debut!  WITH THE STORY & THE MUSIC……. WE WANT TO LEAVE OUR FANS BEGGING FOR MORE!!!
